I would like to know if there is a web site that has dairy goats listed for sale. I live in the eastern WV Panhandle if that makes a diff. I don't mind driving a couple of hours if necessary. Thanks in advance.

gary, The American Dairy Goat Association has a website -www.adga.org It should help you find a listing of people who are breeders in your area. West Virginia is in district three, if that doesn't help you can e-mail me and I will send you address of people in your area.

what kind are you looking for? i have several members in our meat goat cooperative that live in WVA. i also live within a few hrs and raise registered alpines and have several doe kids and a few milkers available. i need to cut back. also, i know of some dairy goat breeders who live in WVA that i can give you their names if you can give me an idea as to what kind you are looking for. Goatworld.com has a want and also a classified site. Egroups.com has a goatads site. If you move fast their is a big haul across the U.S. starting the end of the month 1-26 and you could have anything for sale nearly from anywhere shipped. There's some lovely Nubian and LaMancha does for sale near me, that could make the trip, email me and I will send you the information and also the Nubians photos. Vicki

Hi Gary,

I'm in south east North Carolina near Fayetteville. I have a soon to be registered Nubian Buck for sale.(He's line bred Copper Hill) Very sweet and gentle. Born March 2000. His Sire and Dam and his sister are here. Don't need another buck and I plan to breed his sister to a buck from another line next fall. Sorry I have no does to sell yet.

Bernice, When I first started to look I was looking for Nubians,because I knew about them {I was the son of a Mennonite preacher and they were what the family always had}but I am now thinking all breeds have good&bad points so I am looking for what is somewhat close to me for breeding purposes and advice as I am 25yrs. off the farm.
