Hello again, I was wondering if anyone has heard anything about the New England School of Photography? Located in Boston, MA, the school offers programs which include photojournalism and black and white photography. I believe that you receive a vocational certificate at the end of their two year program, as they are an "accredited" school. Any other opinions or information about this school would be helpful! Thanks!

I would highly recommend the New England School of Photography. I completed their full time professional program in 1994 where I majored in portraiture and minored in color projects. The other majors include not only photojournalism and black & white photography but also editorial and advertising photography. In addition, there are minor programs in documentary, digital, fashion, and zone system photography.
The faculty is excellent as are the facilities. Class sizes keep the student teacher ratio at a level that encourages a high level of interaction with the instructors.
If you visit their website (www.nesop.com), you'll see the long list of alumni who've made their mark in the photographic world. That says something about the quality of instruction.
If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
