It's February 1st.greenspun.com : LUSENET : MATH : One Thread |
Oh, sweet January, I hardly knew ye
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
y'all, still no dameetray letter. He's not going to write back.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I can't believe it's February. But it is.Any more name talk on YM last night? I do like Clearly. Is it available? Although we run the risk of sounding like Clearly Canadian. Or Clearly Randall's (or as we called that in high school, CLearly Lawsuit).
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
The new index page is different. I like it, and it made me smile. But it's different. Not that I'm one to talk as I am a lazy-ass diaryland user.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
All kinds of talk on YM, even after poor Mike got booted and couldn't sign back in.Clearly is, sadly, taken. Vincent F. Chao likes aurora.com, for the record.
He said to say, "For the record." He knows not to upset MATH.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I like Aurora.com too, but for more personal reasons. My great- grandmother named several streets in Metairie after my great- grandfather subdivided the plantation. She was a big mythology buff and she named ascending streets from dawn until dusk - Aurora to Phosphor, I think. I'm trying to remember the order - I may go look at a map.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'm sorry, what was "aurora" again? What abot "fortherecord.com"?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I wonder if Meg realizes that the reason she doesn't have a Valentine is because she's an ill-socialized freak.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Joh - I think my post on your index page sounded odd. I like it. I think it's neat, and I've never seen anything like it before. Hence the "different."
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I like Aurora, too. She's the dawn goddess, Han. I was trying to think of things that meant "new life" or something like that. Dawn sort of fits, do y'all think?Fortherecord.com is funny.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Arrison! Sherby Rynne on 105.3 on Howard Stern right now. Vincent Chao call to tell me!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Johanna - Susan is 18 tomorrow. Jane is 19 on Monday.Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
You just made me lose a breath.Susan can not be 18. I'm still getting used to Jane being 18.
I like fortherecord.com!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Kathleen gets her drivers license in March. When she turns 17. When we moved to Houston, she was 18 months old.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
And a sweet baby she was. Remember when we used to make her say horseradish and ambulance? ambubaance or whatever.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh, she was absolutely precious. And quiet. She didn't talk until she was about five. I mean, she could talk, but she didn't.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Where y'all be?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
"You're kinda pathetic. Only without the kinda."Did y'all see this on Meg's journal? This is not only a pamie ripoff, it's a blatant ripoff. Didn't pamie write that like two days ago linking to her e-mail?
Freak.
Hey, T, how many sisters do you have? I love all those names.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh, I think that every Meg entry is a blatant Pamie ripoff. Or a MBTV ripoff. Or a ripoff, period. I'm waiting for the meg entry where she write the whole thing with a Chinese accent.I have four sisters: Julie, Jane, Susan, Kathleen.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Hannah, www.doteasy.com has free domain hosting. It's $25 to register the name, and you can buy other options, too, but it looks pretty good.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I also like how she copyrights it. Uh-huh. Too bad she's a copier!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
That's a lot of girls, T. Don't you have a brother too? Is he just estrogen-overcome or what?anbei.com is unavailable! Damn. annachao.com is, though. I think that I will purchase it.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Who has anbei?? That clazy!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I don't know! Some CLAZY person. It say page not avairable, but doteasy say it taken! Stupid.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
did you check register.com? They'll tell you who has it.That Charlie Angel still bustin 'tude!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
No, I'll do that.I just saw that, Han! I would love to say, "pamie make you suck ban list if you not careful, Charlie Angel. You want to suck ban list?"
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'm here, I'm here.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I read survivor recap, and Joanna say "chaos ensues" and I think, who are the Chaos?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
terilippincott.com is available. Hmmm. I'm still miffed about etiquette.com, though.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I dealt again with charlies17troll.Did y'all check HYD this mo'nin?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh! Chaos everywhere!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Yes! Loved th Randall's shout out
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
www.annachao.com has been purchased. Yippee! I so excited. Now I have to learn how to make pretty, pretty website.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Al, HYD is so good. I love it. An Bei rove pletty pictures!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
AB, it easy. If Al can do it, anybody do it.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Yay, Annachao.com!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
However, the headings in the courier type are not supposed to wrap to the next line. I don't know how to fix that. And the caption under Bill Lowe's picture is supposed to be uh...under the picture and not ten lines down. Hmm.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
AB - you asked me a million times last night what I used to sign on to the web at home and I somehow didn't see it until we logged off. I use earthlink.
And somebody asked me the other day who hosts HYD. I guess I told y'all that my friend Sonya bought me that address for Christmas? Well, she hosts it through her company www.webmacster.com and will, for free, for a year. I'll probably put a banner up for her somewhere.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
No, it's fine. I like it. It's good good good. Yes.I'm gonna kill dameetray. Keel!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I, too, liked the Randall's shout-out. I sort of like the way the blue letters wrap.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
If AB can do it, anybody, anybody, do it. AB supposed to know this for job. Heh.Al, did you listen to Shelby this morning? Gawd, she's so cute. She was all complimenting Howard, and he loved her. Couldn't get enough.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Why must dameetray be a jag? Why, God? Why? Girl, you know he's probably out auditioning or wheeling and dealing. I will subtly ask p about it.
Where is MOC? I can't believe he hasn't gotten in on the Survivor discussion. I know he's really busy at work this week but, come on. Dissing the MATH girls? No excuse.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Why do y'all call him dameetray? Is that pronounced Dimitri? Is it pig latin? He hasn't written back yet? Did you write him back like five minute after your eceived his last letter?
Okay, work people are annoying. They KNOW that I am leaving at 1:10 for my post-op appt. They KNOW that if I am going to meet with these people about the site, then I have to meet with them by noon, no later. Annoying dawdlers.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Also, Joh, do you really want to get involved with one fo those drama- type people?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I totally missed Shelby!!! ARRRGHHH!! But, Howard was nice to her? Thank God. You know I would have had to go on a smear campaign if he wasn't.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I was wondering, Al, because I couldn't get AOl to work last night, but I fixed it. @home has some sort of way I can network our computers and get cable access on it, but I am way too retarded to figure it out. I'll have to call in the pros.Y'all, my Golden Retriever rescue website has the cutest, cutest dogs on it today. Why won't they call me? They hate the Chao family!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Y'all, yesterday I won a Diet Coke under the cap of the one I was drinking and...I am just addicted to DC, ok? I want one so bad right now I can't even think about anything else. That is so wrong! You know, when I totally cut them out for my friend Kristen's wedding, I lost 12 pounds without even doing anything. And I felt great! I didn't constantly feel full of carbonation and my skin looked excellent.
Sigh...
That being said...I'll be right back. I'm going to get my free one. But I'm getting some water, too.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
No one hates teh Chao family!I wrote him back like an hour after he wrote me. I wasn't sure if I should wait. I dunno.
His site is "dammitray.com" as in Dammit, Ray. I thought it was "dameetray." Because I'm blonde like that.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ah. Dammit ray. I get it. I just don't have the patience for Flash, unfortunately.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I just have to say that when H asked me in Vegas what "dameetray" meant in Ray's e-mail address...well, I had to stop walking and almost fall to my knees on the ground, I was laughing so hard.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'm going to lunch and to Emory. I get to see the pictures today - should be interesting.Allison - I'll be thinking of you when I go see Francine Reed tonight.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
You're.going.to.see.Francine.Reed.?!?! Get OUT, T. Mayn. My jealousy knows no end.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Dude, she lives in Atlanta. She playes all the time. You should be ashamed of me for not going to see her sooner. But yeah. Come to Atlanta. Francine Reed lives here. She plays at little smoky blues dives that are one block from my apartment.
We're going to see Victoria Williams and Mark Olson (yeah, from the Jayhawks) and the Original Harmony Ridge Creekdippers on Saturday night.
Ms. Reed also frequently appears at Fuzzy's, which is not only a smoky blues dive. It also has this guy named Joe Dale. He's like 80, and GOOD LORD, can that man cook.
Maybe C and I will eat at Fatt Matt's tonight in honor of Ms. Reed.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Now I'm going, for real.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
And see, that's not me trying to be snotty. That's me saying, "Hey, Al. You know you want to leave Dallas, you know you want to be closer to home. Move to Atlanta!"
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Who you need to be telling is The MOC. If he read that part about the Jayhawks, he would jump up immediately and pack his bags. Just say a little prayer that he gets in to Emory - not because of me, but because I know he would love Atlanta so much, and he deserves to be in a place that treats him like home.
Plus, I do actually think I might move there this summer, and I would be really happy if we happened to move to the same place. I will not be moving to Wisconsin, I'll tell you that for free.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Where did MOC apply?Yeah, we were both laughing pretty hard at the "dameetray" thing. I just loved it when Pam was like, You know that's his new nickname, right?
Wheee!
See, lobstahs. Lobstahs and he don't even know it
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
T, I just sent him an e-mail. He will soon call me in a fit of jealousy.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Hmm. Maybe it's my email. Al - did you get the one I sent this a.m.?MOC just wrote us back. He no diss Survivor MATH girls.
I have so many bills to pay. MER!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
He applied at six schools. I call them the Three Goods and the Three Bads. (Names based only on my own wants and needs. All of them actually have great programs.)The Bads:
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Iowa (for God's sake)
The Goods:
Emory
Duke (sorry, Mike)
Virginia (ducking the rotten vegetables surely being thrown by Mike
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I go away! I get sucked into reading all the diarist.net finalist. Now I'm going to get some Polaroid film so I can take pictures of pretty Mad Madeleine for her school project, "The ME Box." Hours of fun!
See y'all later on, my girls (and boy).
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Goodbye AB! Miss you already.Allison, I was hoping you'd say he applied to Ohio State. Then I'd be happy
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
The ME Box! AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
DallasCPA was nominated for Best New Journal!Mayn. It's all those 3WAction jags.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Mayn, that would be pretty good. Of course, if he gets into Emory...and I move to ATL...and Mike is looking for a new job and might as well move to the glorious Southland...and T already lives there, in SMYRNA...all we'll have to do is convince you and the Chaos and all of Hardlucy to head to GA, too. Voila! Instant MATH Famiry.
(However, y'all know he's going to get into Minnesota and they're going to offer him a bunch of cash and we're going to break up and all of this will be moot, right? I'll still move to the ATL, but we would have to have an RIP, MOC party.)
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Okay. I'm convinced those diarist things are all rigged and shit. One of the entries for best dramatic entry is from Emily. And while it's on a pretty tough subject, the writing is kind of crappy. It's not anything spectacular, by any stretch. But she helped organize the JournalCon etc., and maybe I'm just cynical, but there you go.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh, I think they're total BS. I know my guest entry for pamie was nominated because it's PAMIE.COOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM (crazy voice).
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
You don't even know how upset I am that Bennigans doesn't have a picture of a Wheelhouse Burger on their site.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'll be out for a while y'all. Keep the faith.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh, I'm glad. It might make me barf.Well, your guest entry was hilarious and well-deserving of a nom
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Mayn! I'm here all alone.Alllll aaaaaaalooone and lonely.
I miss my jags.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I like Allison's idea - the one about all y'all moving to Atlanta. Yeah. Al, do you really think that you may end up here? Is MOC suffiently jealous of the Francine Reed-ness of my fair city?By the way - I do not live in Smyrna. I may share a Publix with ruderho, but I am not a Smyrnite. I live ITP, in the 404.
I do not think that you will have to have a MOC, RIP party, but if you do, I will help you throw it. We will eat crawfish fetuccini.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Baby, just because your area code is 404 doesn't mean you're ITP. Your address is Smyrna. Chris told me!!!!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
But we ARE ITP! By like, 200 yards! I may do many things, but I will not be an OTPerson. Chris doesn't know what he's talking about. Go ahead. Send me something in Atlanta, GA, 30080. All the post office cares about is the zip code!Mayn, Chris is a jag. I bet you laughed when he told you the address.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
What's up, y'all?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I did! I was like, HA! I knew he lived in Smyrna.Sminings trash.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Allison ... all three of MOC's "good" schools have really good history programs ... at least in Colonial American history, which is what I was looking at out of undergrad.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ooooh, them's fightin' words.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Hannah wrote:Okay. I'm convinced those diarist things are all rigged and shit. One of the entries for best dramatic entry is from Emily. -- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
So the Magic 8-Ball thinks I should look for a new job? Interesting...
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Y'all! Still no dameetray letter and it's been 48 hours. That bitch is going dooooown.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'm back.
T, does the Junior League know that you will probably marry someone who is OTP? Don't worry...I'll keep your secret. (Also, I may break up with C and move to ATL just so we can have that crawfish fettucine.)
M, really all six schools have good programs. I just call those other ones "The Bad Ones" because...well, look where they are. Seriously, when he told me he was applying to Wisconsin, I laughed because I thought he was joking. He wondered aloud where I get off being so high and mighty, being from Alabama. (He's just dumb and from New Jersey and hasn't ever been to the glorious Magic City. That is the only way he could say such a thing.)
He wants his area for his PhD to be something like American Family Studies in the (Whatever) Era...or something like that. (It's not that I don't listen - I just don't remember.) I find it particularly interesting that he wants to do family studies, because Chris is adopted and hardly knows anything about his biological family, by choice.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
See? That's Karma screwing with you in retaliation for your Teri- lives-in-Smyrna allegations.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Don't make me turn this car around.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Okay. One, that thing about karma was aimed towards Joh.Two, I DO NOT LIVE OTP.
Three, Allison. Chris is from New Jersey? Do you think that they would even let him into the Magic City?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
The MOC is a jersey jag.Okay, Teri. There, there. You don't live in Smyrna. You live in "Atlanta."
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Y'all. I swear.Al, I don't mean to imply that MOC is less great just because he's from Jersey. I must note, also, that the League will admit women from OTP (like my good friend Kristie).
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Not only is he from New Jersey, I can't even remember the name of the town he lived in, because it was so small. Y'all surely realize that I made a face when he revealed to me he was from Jersey. I was like "well...maybe I won't tell my parents..."
My friends Kristen and Leigh (Tito and LBJ) call him Southside Johnny.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I think Southside Johnny is playing here in a couple of weeks...You do have to cut a little slack to anyone who grew up on the New Jersey Turnpike. What chance do those poor kids have?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I know. It's sad. He's never even been to New York City, y'all. He grew up like, two hours away from there.
When he choses a grad school - and please, we all know it's going to be some awful place and I'll never see him again - I'm going to take him on a graduation trip to either NYC or New Orleans, which he would love and where he's also never been. He wants to go to LA, but screw that. I mean, come on. I know he likes Eric better than he likes me, but really. I am not spending a million dollars to go out there and sleep on their smoke encrusted futon.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Or, I could get my passport and take him to London on one of those ridiculous fares British Airways is offering this spring. $128 to London! He lived in England for a year in school and wants to go back. But I don't think we could take more than a few days off, so I really can't see that working.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
It's got to be New Orleans for JazzFest, because maybe if everyone went I'd stop being all talk, no action and start actually making arrangements to go.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Man, I really, really want to go to JazzFest. Which weekend are you thinking about, M? Just pick one. Come ON!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ideally, the weekend that's not May 4, since that's my brother's birthday.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ooh, Jazzfest and Darras, too? We all should go.MATH in New Orleans: We're Taking Over.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I just feel as though I'm less of a human being for never having been to New Orleans.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
That would be April 27, then. Which is fine with me. Oooo, let's all go!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Yes! Let's! Okay, I'm already marking it down.Who's playing that weekend? Never mind, I'll check.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
It's tough to pick a weekend this early in the game, though. THe lineup usually isn't announced until closer to Mardi Gras, and you can't pick a weekend until you know what the lineup is.But I will definitely be there, even though I'll be there two weeks later for Sue's graduation.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
"I just feel as though I'm less of a human being for never having been to New Orleans."I won't hold it against you.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Yeah, the line-up's not announced. But here's the site: http://www.nojazzfest.com
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
From the JazzFest vets ... how much time should I plan to spend there?I really, really want to go!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I know. I just checked it and I was all excited about the lineup, then I realized it was the 2000 schedule. An Bei have trouble reading dates!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Mike, I'd give yourself a long weekend. Come in on a Thursday afternoon/early evening (you gain an hour flying in from DC)and leave on Monday afternoon. That allows plenty of time for both music and recovery.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
My YM is working again. Thank the Lord.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Y'all, if we go to Jazzfest it means no Darras, but really, I've never done JF, and since I'm missing MG, I need my NO (and Lippincott) fix.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
It really depends on which day is more important to you. If you really want to see somebody on Sunday afternoon, you might want to stay until Monday. But really, just the weekend. Sort of like Vegas, but with beer and sweat.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Usually, the schedule is up immediately after Mardi Gras. MG isn't unusually early or late his year, so there will be plenty of time for reservations, etc., after MG.Oh, Chicken is so excited about meeting the MATHletes!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I also suggest the long weekend for any visit to NO, not just JazzFest. Recovery time is the most important, not only because you'll be deep in the sauce, but you just have to walk a lot. And eat a lot. And drink a lot.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ogh, that song is in my head, AGAIN.~~ooooooh... I am for reeeeeeal... Nevuh meant to make your daughter cry... I ap-ol-o-gize a trillion times...~~
I should just buy the stinking single and banish that tune forevuh.
Hey - I wonder it Ourkast will be at JF?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
"Deep in the sauce..."Nice.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
It was rumored way back that Hardlucy was going to play one of the small stages. I need to find out what happened to that. How cool would that be?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
That would be cool as fuck. And on that profane note, I'm heading home.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Dude, if Hardlucy is there, I'm there. I'm their new biggest fan.
T, that song came on MTV at one this morning when I was half-asleep trying to fix up HYD. I thought of you and had to stop and laugh for like, 10 minutes. Every.single.time my friend Jesse calls me, which is several times a day, we sing it to each other. Just the I'msorry Miss Jackson part.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Allison, I will be sure to say hello to Ms. Reed on behalf of you and the MOC. I'll tell her that you'll be ready to sing with her in Atlanta soon enough.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Oh, one thing I forgot to tell y'all, non-JF-related:Vince had an idea about the MATHazine. Instead of a Lin Chao column, because she'd be like, "What? Huh? Corumn? What you mean?", we could have a picture of Lin, with a thought bubble, and a "Lin Chao Quote of the Week."
I could not stop laughing, but I think it's a good idea.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
All right. Should I set up a JazzFest question under the travel category?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
AB, that's hilarious. We probably shouldn't use her name, and we don't want to appear like we're making fun of Chinese people, HOWEVER: We could call it "Anna Beth's Mother-in-Law Quote of the Week." Excrusivery for MATHAzine!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Go ahead, M. I hate it that this would negate the Dallas plans, but hell, New Orleans, you know? I'm DOWN for it.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
So I guess I'm the only one who liked fortherecord.com?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I like fortherecord.com, but I'm becoming increasingly fond of aurora.com. And it seems to have sentimental connotations for T. And me, if you count the minor in Latin and all.Anybody else? Al and Mike, can you talk about it today?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
baby hearts, I'm leavign soon. AB, I email you and MOC as soon as Survivor ovah. We chat. We make predictions. We rove! And I have to go home and do a real update. Must keep readers who hit for Vegas recap. Must make them rove JOAG!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Ooh, a Lin Chao Quote-Of-The-Week. That would be classic.Allison, I called your house last night - I was driving though the hood on my way to volunteer at Grady, and that song came on. I mean, could there have been a more appropriate time for that song to come on?
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Aurora is fine by me. Really, anything alluding to mythology is fine.I'll be updating tonight as well. Also writing a column with NCAA tourney picks. I'm all about writing today.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'll be trying to figure out how to make a website, while watching Survivor and taping Friends. Arrison, you are welcome to come help. And watch.H, I be waiting for you and MOC e-mail!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Although I like fortherecord.com as well.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
I'm out too, loves. It's Polaroid time.We Survivor chat tonight!
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001
Y'all, I will be dealing with JoAnn! I have you all beat!
I really do sort of like fortherecord.com. And I'm not against aurora, though it does sound sort of girly.
-- Anonymous, February 01, 2001

How much does it cost to reguster domain names?Honestly, I think they're both great choices. If we don't pick fortherecord.com, I might register it anyway and figure out what to do with it later.

Al, I didn't buy it because it cost like a billion dollars. But I think my BIL will send it to me. We rearn iBook together, yes!Mike, I paid $25 for a year at doteasy.com. That thread in Technology about domain names has some other choices, too.

Yeah, I bogarted my Dreamweaver from my friend Sonya. What you should do, AB, is get Joey to buy it for you through UTA with his student ID. It costs SO MUCH less. Seriously, check that out. I didn't even think about it until now.
