The p/p folks can coat their own paper, so why can't I coat paper with a rich silver (but much faster - read projection speed) emulsion? I want to make my own Oriental Seagull graded paper.

I'm looking but not finding any information. Any book or web pointers on how to do this?

Doug, There are a number of companies that make liquid emulsions. Catchet, Luminos (I think they have got a VC emulsion now) and Liquid Light to name a few. These are silver based and are projection speed, chlorobromide kind of stuff. Good Luck
