Sorry, it's not me.greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread |
The reason is simple: I have left MARP.As someone may have noticed, I'm deleting all of my scores - just because I want my name to disappear from this site. I asked GB9 to remove me and he answered that he can't (I also mailed Zwaxy but still silence from him), so all I can do right now is delete them manually, very boring indeed.
I am NOT No Mercy, believe me (if you don't, I don't care).
The last time I played with MAME was before last Christmas; I've dropped it simply because I am bored with it now. The reason is, I've come back to my beloved Commodore 64, and I find much more exciting playing Turrican or Creatures 2 by myself or with my close friends than submitting dozens of scores of games I have never played before - just to earn points and let Game Guru stay in 4th position. ;-P
So farewell Anders, Jeffrey, Pete and all the others I've met there.
See ya in a future Commodore 64 Action Replay Page, who knows.

Makes no sence, why do you even bather to delete your score? why dont just leave them? It not so that you maybe gain something by deleting them?bye Vaz (i loved your pic and text on Hall of Mame he he)

Eh, eh, good question. But seriously, I just want ALL of my scores deleted from here. Leaving MARP and keeping my scores here, this doesn't really make sense. I admit I had this idea some days ago, but I quickly dropped it; I don't want to waste time anymore on MAME, I'm way too busy with CCS64 :-)
Oops, Oakster, I forgot: if you really like my profile, well, you'd better save it soon; I'm going to mail Crash asking him to remove it.

Why do you want your name to disappear from MARP? You say you are simply bored but that doesn't make any sense. It's odd that you seem compelled to remove all your recordings - manually. That is definitely not the behaviour of someone who is just bored. I have seen people do this before but only when they were hugely upset about MARP in some way and were responding out of spite. I hope that hasn't happened in your case. I wish you luck with your Commodore 64.

Just one word to say in this case. One of the best players are living. It's sad. Good luck in the next challenge, Vaz! :(

After Renzo Vignola, another great Italian Marper is leaving Marp..... it seems like I'm the last one.... :-(Cicca
-- Cicca (cicca@writeme.com), February 12, 2001.
Tim, it may seem to you senseless to remove all of my scores, but I think that since I'm leaving I don't see why my scores should be here anymore. And also, No Mercy is beating them all so they would be useless anyway :-)

From 100% Japanese(if my ancient have some troubles,99% or more).
Vaz,you may play just on your way.if you want to leech many % points at MARP,you should do.I do not blame about it.
but VAZ, to say"MAME is bored"is 10,000,000 years too early for you.you had not better insult Japanese games.
you just play games without thinking, without improvement of course without fun.it is no wonder.
but it is not meaning mame is not fun. period. Good buy the most handsome guy at the marp.
CURRENT TOP HISA.
