I'm actually off today, and won't be checking in because -- at the risk of sounding like Jessifer -- my brother has to go to the hospital. He's had pain in his lower back and legs for about three years now, and nobody can figure out what exactly is wrong. So he's getting a shot that will numb him and render him unable to walk for, like, six hours, and they're going to try and figure out what the deal is.

So I'll be at Johns Hopkins for moral support, and to keep my sister- in-law from having to wait by herself, and to do whatever it is I can do, and because I'm a neurotic sort who'd be worrying all day anyway. And, of course, because he's my brother.

I will, however, be in Saturday and Sunday nights to catch up on all the MATH biznez.
