No real reason to ask this question I guess but im just curious.

Does anyone know how many M6’s and associated lenses that Leica in Solms produce a week/month.

The price of these items is so high one thinks that maybe the time and effort required to produce these mean that production is very low, or have our German friends managed to control and automate the process to such an extent that they can produce a fantastically engineered product en masse.

Answers

Leica Solms produces approximately 10 000 cameras a year. I do not know the breakdown between M and R cameras.
