On the ga-5ax motherboard there are two USB ports,but i cant seem to find them in the device manager?(i am currently using win 2k pro). i am trying to get a fuji digital camera working but cant as the usb ports arent there(or are they)are there any updated drivers forthis m\board or do i need a new m\board?i have tried everything i can think of. im at my wits end.

Have you enabled the USB device in the bios? It is set to off by default if I'm not mistaken. If it is turned on try turning it off and rebboting your system, then turn it on again. Windows should detect the root USB hub if it doesn't bring it back and we'll test it out for you.

First thing to check is that the ports are enabled in the BIOS, by the sound of your problem they aren't. Please let me know.
