question re the bishop's deathgreenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread |
The way it looked when I watched the bishop die was that he had barely uttered his final "amen" praying for Luka, when he died. But some have suggested a lot of time was supposed to have passed(maybe all night)between the amen and when the alarm went off and Luka got up and unhooked his nose-thingy. Can anyone who recorded it look at that and clarify? Thanks

I didn't record it, but my impression was that much time had passed. I think it was light outside by then (?).

look at the thread "last rites for the bishop?" farther down on this page. the general consensus seems to be that it is morning before the bishop actually dies.

When Luka enters the room it's 11:30 pm. When the Bishop dies there is indeed light coming through the window.

And also when the bishop said "Amen," he had his hand on Luka's head, but when they cut to the overhead shot, Luka is sitting farther back and the bishop is not touching him.
