I am a breadmaker, I make savoury, sweet, all sorts of bread by hand. I always have used yeast in my recipes. My cousin has just been diagnosed with colon cancer and he has asked me to help him with some yeast free bread recipes, so i was wondering if you could help me with some recipes. I would think that the best bet here would be to get a dietetic book specifically for this prognosis. I can suggest you check out www.chipsbooks.com or your physician for a book on dietetic foods and baked goods. Yeast free breads can be leavened with baking powder, soda, or in some cases steam. I would be uncmmfortable giving out recipes intended for such a specific purpose, but can suggest that you gather some resources before trying anything. Best bet here would be to speak to his doctor on this, as I am sure books have been developed for this.
