Part of NW (DC) Waterless After Pump Fails

Hundreds of District households were without water or had low water pressure for about four hours last night in upper Northwest after a pump failed, D.C. Water and Sewer Authority officials said.

One transmission water main failed and water crews need four hours to reroute water through another main, said Libby Lawson, a water authority spokeswoman.....
