Is garlic/yeast/kelp/corn oil supplement ok for the cat, too?

I guess the question is pretty self-explanatory. Thanks!

Sorry, but I have questions! Is this a human supplement? What form is it in? If it's for humans, and it's in a powder, and what you listed is ALL that's in it, then you can reduce the amount to take into account the cat's weight compared to an adult human.

If it's a tablet, you'd probably overdose the cat. None of these ingredients is poisonous, but overdoing ANYTHING is not a good idea. If there's something else in it, like added vitamins and minerals, I'd have to know what and how much to give you an opinion.

Why do you WANT to give this supplement to the cat? What is s/he eating for the regular diet?

It's supposed to be good for the dogs, in keeping fleas and ticks to a minimum and for their coats. My cat just tends to sample the dogfood on occasion. And I wondered if it would keep fleas off her, too. She has Iambs, wet and dry. And yes, that's all that's in it. Not a pill, just powdered. And just a little bit... like a tablespoon for 4 cups of dogfood. I would probably just put a dash in the catfood, if it's recommended.

I don't see why this would hurt a cat. I think it would be fine. Getting the cat to eat it might be a problem, but maybe your's isn't picky. Some are and some aren't.

That mixture sounds suspiciously like the one sold by the name of Pets Alive, or Bits, from Gardens Alive -- they sell it for both cats and dogs, but I'd wonder if your cat would even eat the garlic, but who knows? I have heard that so many cats are wild for seafood because they are iodine deficient, and that kelp is high in natural iodine and good for correcting the problem.
