Hi folks!

Here is a portfolio of some photos I took at the Chicago Auto Show last month. I used a Leica M6 TTL camera with a 35mm Summicron ASPH lens for all the photos. The film used was Ilford Delta 3200 @ EI3200. The exposure was f8@1/125 for all the photos with the lens set at the hyperfocal distance. Comments and critiques are welcome. There are no great individual images, but the set captures the ambience very nicely. It appears to me that there was plenty of light to support a less grainy film, (which I find objectionable).

Hi Muhammad

I find 'objectionable' a bit strong! Personally, with a 35/2 I would have used the full aperture and shot Delta 100 pushed one stop. You seem to have got the worst of both worlds. A fast grainy film and small apertures when you could have really exploited the quality of a wide open modern Leica lens and used a much finer film. But it's easy to be smart after the event!

Keep at it

I would kindly suggest to try to make the main subject (or idea) more evident in your photographs so that they don't need any captions. Maybe the hyperfocal focusing doesn't help in this respect. Otherwise I like your photographs. For some reason they say "Leica" Regards.
