I am a teacher now living in China. Though the food here is quite delicious, rice and noodles take longer to prepare, and I don't like to always go out to eat.

Unfortunately, as to the sandwich solution, the bread which is sold here is so soft and lacking in fiber, that even among the heartiest bread , I have problems digesting them after one meal.

First of all I'm not sure in what way the break is lacking and I'd be interested to know. Is it not whole grain (does this mean without all the original components?) and/or is it overly refined ? Is there a difference between refined and not whole grain?

More importantly, I'd like to know from where and how I might get some highly nutritious bread with adequate fiber, preferably domestically baked of course (for freshness and cost) . I live in Zhengzhou City, Henan province of the People's Republic of China. Beyond myself, I hope all people here would be able to have access to not merely fast food options, but healthy fast-food ones also.
