I'm considering ordering muscovy duck eggs at $12.00/dozen from The Easy Chicken--has anyone ordered from them? Seems risky getting eggs in the mail, but I want muscovies, and they don't offer the ducklings, just the eggs. Thanks

Eggs that are packed well, travel well. But shipping eggs are iffy on hatching. Just don't expect a 100% hatch!

Duck eggs are very tricky to hatch. I tried some last year(my own ducks' eggs). Got them to the pipped stage, and then lost them. I think that I did not keep it humid enough. I believe that you have to spray mist them. Be sure and read up on it first.

Elizabeth: If you want Muscovies, I would try to find a hatchery or a breeder. Muscovy eggs are even trickier to hatch than regular duck eggs. We let our Muscovies incubate almost all their own eggs because they get much better hatches than we do. I have heard of other people having success incubating Muscovy eggs but I think your money would be better spent purchasing live birds than having eggs shipped.
