Edna "Leather Bags" Goat organized a revolt and nearly got me seriously hurt. She and her cohorts are gone. Only the dear and lovely Grace Goat and her Laura and one other doe remain. We bought a new buck who is very pleasant, except for his smell. The place is blessedly calmer these days.Good to see you guys are still here!

Hi Helen! Been wondering how you were. So sorry to hear about the 'goat revolt.' Goats CAN be revolting! ;-) Glad YOU are OK. BTW, what did you name the new buck?

Good to see you, Helen! We coyotes have been wondering about ya'. Glad to know there's serenity up your way. . . :-)

Glad you successfully put down the goat rebellion, Helen. How is Mike doing? This morning I was fortunate enough to be able to clean the chimney. And I was able to do it without falling off the roof. We are all thankful for that one.
don't be a stranger. (Who could be stranger than us?)
Gene

LOL Thanks a LOT, Gene. I am NOT strange! :-) (PS- Glad to hear you were graceful today!)

I thought you were talking about me there for a second, Helen!
-- kritter (kritter@adelphia.net), April 01, 2001.
Welcome back, Kritter! Welcome back, Helen! Nice to see you again, Gene and Gayla! Wow, it's beginning to feel like home in here again... now if only Lon, Rob and Robert would sneak in with some off the wall humour, I'd know we're back in Fruitcake Land again :-)
-- Tricia the Canuck (jayles@telusplanet.net), April 01, 2001.
Wow! Hi Kritter! If we knew talking about you would bring you back, we'd have started a long time ago! ;-) Whatcha been up to?

Whew! I almost thought our little place was gone yesterday!Hey Helen, I dreamt the other morning that Mike showed up at my front door, and then I spent the rest of the day wondering how the heck I'd be able to contact you (I figured a message here would do, since you'd check here first) and then the rest of my time wondering how in the world to get him home. Never mind how in the world he got here!
Oh well, at least it wasn't a doctor or dentist-oriented nightmare! Man, I should tell you all about the wacky dream I had the other morning! It had buses, doctors, doomers and doomers meetings for activities all rolled into one. Man was that a wierd dream!

Yippee! {{{Mis amigos}}} Good to see you!We had a death in the family among other things, so it took a while to get back up and running.
Sis, Mike COULD show up on your doorstep any time if he ever figures out how to bypass the locks on the gate. He's been very ... goat like ... lately. Most unpleasant, but even more communicative.
You guys get to name the buck. It must be pronounceable in a hurry, such as "BACK OFF (name)!" It must be clean enough to be screamed in the hearing of my neighbors.

"Butt Off Course" we could name the goat.....
-- Robert A. Cook, PE (Marietta, GA) (cook.r@csaatl.com), April 04, 2001.
"Bud" of course :-)Anyone seen SOB lately? We've been hearing the geese (haven't seen any yet, just honking), so I wondered how long they've been gone from his back yard... Besides, we've had no count for a loooooooooooooong time!!
