I'm currently enrolled in a B&W photography course in college. As a final project I have to shoot 4 pictures that relate to one another in some manner. It's pretty much 'anything goes' as far as subject matter is concerned, as long as there is some discernable 'theme.' I've been racking my brain but I just can't seem to come with anything. So if anyone has any good ideas, ( or bad- I'm not picky) I would sure love to hear them. Thanks a bunch. Natasha

what about - "seeing's believing" (try to show what things/people seem like - and what they are) - "mirrors" (i.e. all sorts of shiny surfaces - and things on it) - "rooftops" (preferrably industrial)

i know - not really fancy. but a start maybe?

How about the differences of religions. For a contrast, ask permission to go to a Buddist temple (bring an offering of food i.e. rice ect), Catholic, Presbytarian and others that are around you.

I've just finished my A-level coursework and currently putting together a folder of the research, intentions and references that was suppose to have been produced over the year. DOH! Anyway, not to sound cheesy but the best results will come from your own inspiration. There R endless possibilities. I could leave it ther but that would be cruel. SUGGESTIONS:form/movement of water, movement of light, city/landscapes, pornography, try some abstract stuff. WHATEVER-GOOD LUCK! (KEEP THE FAITH)

Hi Natasha. I have just finished my second semester at our local University/College. I had a similar project to do. One thing that I tried was to photograph different church crosses on the outside of the buildings. I took some at night at 12PM. Some of the photos turned out quite well.This is just a suggestion and maybe you will see something else at the time or something different. Good luck.

kids at different activities

same subject at different times of day

What do you love? What do you hate? If you have strong emotions to a subject that'll give you the inspiration for how you want to portray it. Spend some time thinking about it. Do your thinking first, then do the photography.

Forms: things that are round; things that are triangular, things that are square

Do you want an intellectual study or an emotional one?
