Could some one give me information or sources on the San Francisco Mission District for a report I'm doing. Anything about the districts founding, past, and current day status would be of great help. Thank You Very Much!

The Mission Branch Library is a good place to start. A Good book to start with is Gladys Hansen's San Francisco Almanac. Remember--San Francisco history started in the Mission with the founding of Mission Dolores.

KQED did a pretty good documentary on the Mission as part of its SF History series.
