In a word: YES.

Will you take it in pennies ? Do I send it to Denny's ? Put it in a hat ? All of that ?YES

You know, I would cheerfully pay 2 bucks a year. But not through Amazon. I have Issues with Amazon (being in the book business as I am), and have so far managed to avoid dealing with them *at all*. Guess I'll just have to keep up the barter system of sending Al a good book now and then;). Marianne

Yup.

Hey, I LIKE the occasional book you send me. Of course you know me, I'd probably prefer to be paid in books and only feel guilty when the kids are around me, waiting to be fed. There's something to be said for the barter system...---Al

Is there a snail mail addy that it safe for you to use to receive my two bucks ?

Yes BUT the amazon box in the corner with my name in it totally weirds me out. I would pay two bucks for the ad to go away.

I agree with Terri -- it's definitely worth it [and more], and I'm really wishing I weren't in debt right now! I'll definitely be contributing once I get my finances straightened out.And yes, it was really weird to pull up your page today and see that cheery little greeting in the upper-right corner. It took me a minute to realize that my name was recognized because of my wish list and all that good stuff with Amazon. Okay, a couple of minutes!

Hmmm. Blackmail via the Amazon box....We'll consider the box on probation. I may take it down anyway.--Al
