Have you heard? There will be a new Stanly County Heritage Book.

The book will be part of the prestigious North Carolina County Heritage series, it will highlight stories and pictures of Stanly County residents and those with roots in Stanly. Our first meeting will be Monday, April 30, 7 PM at the Boardroom in Albemarle. Come and be a part of history! Everyone is invited to participate, since there is no charge for stories or photos. Just a followup regardomg our Stanly Co., NC Heritage book. Based on the dozens of e-mails and phone calls, and the great turnout at last night's meeting, we're well on our way! Long overdue, the Stanly County, NC Heritage - 2002 will be well received!
