HI,

I had a whirlpool installed. A crane Capri. The bottom of the tub is not smooth the way most tub surfaces are. The surface looks as if has been to hot at some point and the coating developed tiny air pockets all over the bottom of the tub. Is this normal, should there be a surface which is kinda raised on the bottom of the tub. The bottom has no particular design or pattern just tiny air pocket shapes. Looks kinda like tiny air pockets caused by too much heat.

Does this sound familiar? Is there any way to repair the bottom of the tub?
