I posted a question here a while back that a friend had many images spoiled from a China trip with his Minilux due to excessive pressure being needed on the release button. It turns out the problem was a low battery of all things. Apparantly, if the battery strength indicator does not read totally full, more pressure starts to be required to trip the shutter. Some odd quirk with the Minilux series. So Minilux users, don't wait fot the battery indicator to drop to 1/2 before changing batteries.
