One of our Pekin hens has been laying an egg each day for a while, but I took the drake out about a week or so ago, as he was injuring the hens to the point of breaking ones' back, and dislocating the leg of the hen that is laying. Assuming they mated the last day he was in with her, will the eggs she lays be fertile for several days afterwards? I'm going to try to incubate them just in case, but wondered if anyone knows how many would be fertile. Thanks, Jan
