This new energy source, is unfortunately, in the form of heat, with summer approaching. And a form of machinery called a "heat engine" is required to convert (at least some of) this heat into useful work (or electricity.) The process of designing, building, upgrading, and inproving these engines is the basic occupation of "Engineers" in the strict definition of the word. Thus, in order to harness any new heat energy source, it is necessary to properly employ Engineers.

In other words, this anger must be converted, using intelligence and ingenuity, into constructive ACTION, to be of any value. Excessive heat, if not converted into useful work energy; causes scorching, melting, burning, and other types of (additonal) breakdowns and failures. These would just add to the Cascading Effects.
