Great images!!! Congratulations! Without wanting to take anything away from your art, could you share a few of the technical details, such as type of film used, lens focal length preferences, shooting conditions, etc.

Thanks,

Interesting images, Pascal. I do find the one with the prayer flags hard to read, though - it looks as if the framed mountains are separate from the rest of the view somehow. It could be partly my laptop screen, but I think in colour it would have been clearer. Too late now, of course!

I particularly liked the Sri Lankan gem mine photos. Maybe you could have captioned the pictures a bit more to explain what's going on - for instance in the Ladakh picture of the priest/apothecary blowing something into another person's mouth (I haven't the faintest idea what's going on in this picture, as you can see).

Do you spend a lot of time in South Asia, or was this a single trip?

Again, nice pictures.

These are Cartier-Bresson class images. Especially the visually ambigious mountain/prayer flags. WOW!! Thanks for allowing me to see them. (It's so rare to see anything approaching this good on the web that I've almost stopped looking. Had it not been for the earlier comments, I would have missed these.)

Pascal: thankīs for sharing such great images, those clothes hanging and moved by the wind, before the clouds above the mountains, are gorgeous, reminds me of some of Koudelkaīs sense. Have you done any work in color?, some of your pictures speak of color, without it, and thatīs a virtue.

Wonderful composition, technical quality, and "decisive moment" shooting. Way to go, Pascal!

Do I detect a "Leica" bias here? :) On my screen the images are gray with no blacks at all?? (the page is black) They do not seem to be sharp and as for content , most look posed??? (HCB like??)
