Could someone please tell me why a pygmy goats gestation chart is different than a another goats.I have a pygmy goat that was breed october 16th.thank for any info.

Lori - Although I'm not a pygmy goat person, I do have sheep. Their gestation is about 155 days or about 5 months. Your pygmy is way over that. I would venture to guess that she is not bred. I don't think a goats gestation is longer than a sheep.

Hopefully some real goat people will chime in.

I raise Pygmies also. Their gestation is 150-155 days. You can be assured your goat was not bred because she would never go that far overdue. Sorry! :-(
