I'm getting black borders at the widest sides of the 669 film when using Daylab35. Has anyone experienced this problem or is my Daylab deffective? This is the second one I get. The first was producing out of focus prints. The head was out of alignment, so I exchanged. With this new one the prints are sharp, but I get this black lines. Please advise. Herbet.

Hi Herbet! Unfortunately, black borders are a problem when using the fixed image ( 3 1/4 x 4 1/4) Daylab 35 machine. The problem is solved when using the Daylab 35 plus machine. The 35 plus has a bellows and adjustable focus. You can make the slide as large as the picture frame with the 35 plus. PS Sorry you had to wait two years for an answer! Good Luck!
