Y'all, I thought I couldn't get any sadder after saying goodbye to AB last night, and then this morning I find out that John Lee Hooker died in his sleep in the wee hours.
Makes me glad I was on stage at one point, singing what had to have been one of his favorite songs. I wish I could call Bonnie Raitt and tell her that I love her, because you know she's crying.
I miss AB and Vince and Mad so bad already, y'all don't even know.

I wish I had been able to see y'all last night.Last day at work! Yay!
So much work to get through today. No fun at all. I have to cancel lunch with my old boss because we have to drive to Norcross for this presentation. Really, no fun. I'm pretty much packed for this weekend, though. Woo.

That's good. You should see my apartment. JoLo has it packed UP, pretty much. She made me throw away like, three trash cans worth of stuff before we went out last night.
Hardlucy was so good! I rove them. Me and AB danced. Then, these other girls tried to dance, and they just looked like fools.

PRAISES!!! for JoLo. Moving is just such a pain in the ass. Trashing stuff is the best way to take care of it.Have you cleared out your desk? Are you thrilled with the prospect of the china cabinet? What are JoLo's thoughts on the China cabinet??

Allison! I like your update. I also love that you included the lyrics to "Dallas" - that is just a great song. Fun to sing, too. More fitting than "Midnight Train to Georgia." Woo woo.

Thanks - I screwed it up and am fixing it now. I accidentally posted it before I was done. It will be much longer.
It only occurred to me this morning that "Dallas" would be a great song for Hardlucy.
