Your favourite funny part of the seriesgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Aeon Flux : One Thread |
While watching the shorts for the very first time I caught myself laughing on numerous occasions, more so than I had done watching the third season. I have certain favourite "scenes" which made me laugh. Actually I'm not sure if the humour has been discussed. What did you find particularly amusing? I'm eager to find out. As we all know people laugh at different things.

It's not exactly something to make one burst into laughter but I've always liked the part in the first ep ever made, (I think it is called 'night') and Aeon, who is supposed to be there to kill the occupant; and moments before did an illegal break-in, enters the room posing with a smile on her face as if she is making some entrance at some press conference for supermodels.

I know the exact look you mean Barb, it's one of my favorites. It's actually not the first episode made, but it is the one called "Night" (though I think Peter prefers "Mirror").Personally, I always liked the moment in "Gravity" when Trevor licks the teeth of a fellow train passenger... this episode is all about tongue action. I also find it funny whenever Aeon makes one of her famous blunders, especially the one in "Gravity" (leaping from the plane). I don't know if it was intentional or not, but this episode reminds me very much of a Coyote and Roadrunner cartoon... must be the clouds and desert vistas. And the falling, of course.

My fave funny part would be the ep with the demiurge, where ĈON finds herself looking at Trevor's hand print on her butt. lmao that always gets me. she's walking around with that hand print. :O)

I know, that was at least one of my favourites in the third season. She noticed it more than halfways through the episode, and was walking around with it (sadly not in public). The first that sprung to mind when I saw this scene was how Beavis & Butt-head would have reacted if they had watched it. Butt-head: "Huh huh, check it out Beavis, she's wiping her BUTT" Her laugh when tormenting the little alien-creature in Leisure was kind of funny. I don't know why she laughed, perhaps a laugh in triumph or just because she was in full control over the situation.

I think "Ether Drift Theory" has a few funny parts, some intended more then others...There is of course they part where Trevor and Aeon attempt to fight, one with some sort of lobster-claw weapon, the other with some sort of Tentacle weapon. But what really really gets me is right before that fight... when Aeon comes across Tevor there is an exchange:
Aeon: Where's Bargeld and Lindsa? Trevor: Bargeld's working for me. You're not taking him anywhere. Aeon: You don't know where he is. Trevor: I... don't.
It may not read exceptionally funny, but the voice acting is so supurb that it truly is a hilarious moment (if you actually catch it). In my sense of humor I guess, the fact that it is so subtle makes it all the more funny.

im going to have a think about this one because i giggle a lot through various sittings, but the exchange near the begining of the demiurge where, after aeon and trevors embrace trevor shoots adir; Aeon - I thought he was dead! Trevor - I think he is (face bunched up beneath aeons fistoh how I hoot....

good lord my spelling is terrible this evening. absolutely no apostrophe's, no capital letters in names and I even neft out the 'n' in nadir!

The scenes with Clavius always crack me up... what a great president! Fat and totally crazy, just like Bill."What's been through you - I mean, what have you been through, sir?"
hehe

I also like that line where Aeon says "If you had the vial you could control the whole world...," it's pretty sarcastic.

"Hi, my name is Bambara. I'm a 36-year-old virgo and a former killer, whose hobbies include performing recreation autopsies, defecating, and drinking rum. I've recently been given a conscience and would very much like to help you.""piss off, little witches"

I like the line in thatanophoabia(sp?) where Lindsa says to trevor "my box, my box, you took it away". I thought it was an amazing play on words to sneek that past the sensors, considering that he had also taken away her 'box', as she could no longer have sex vaginally.www.munstersucks.com/dutchmen.html

It is an amazing play on words, and the sponsors are not the only ones that it snuck past, as I blanked out on that one too.

I think it would have to be in the Seraph Trev episode where Trevor is wearing his feathers and prancing in front of the mirror. And don't forget his expressions.
