Hi,

I'm a hiker thinking of doing some 'mountaineering' & I found a deal on the trezeta alpinist boots. Does anybody have any experiences to share about this model?

It's a deal because that company can't do anything right. Get a real pair of boots. If you want a good entry mountain boot, the Koflach Degree is a good option: it fits most people well, is warm enough for summer trips on the highest peaks in the lower 48, and provide the user with the support needed for modern climbing techniques. If you want something that will get you through a trip to denali or through the winter in the lower 48, then go with the same boot, keep the stock liner for summer use, but for winter forays buy a custom liner like the institution Denali liner. This set-up will allow for year- round versatility at a similiar price to a normal expedition boot: about $350.

I think Trezeta is one of the best brands and we are one of they resellers: i have to say that we always had good comments from enthusiastic customers: Trezeta is about 80 years that produces boots and it's made in ITALY with best materials.
