Hello again from some City Homesteaders, we have another Rabbit Health Question.
Several of our Rabbits picked up Pinworms at the County Fair. We are treating for this problem with Piperazine. Our question relates to pregnant and nursing Does (Californians), can we worm them now? If not when? One will kindle in two weeks, one-kindled two weeks ago, and one kindled on the 19th.
Also has anyone used any natural wormers on their rabbits?
Thank you for all your help.

An earlier thread suggested using diatomaceous earth for worming animals....maybe someone else could suggest dosage, etc.

I can't show my bunnies - cause they are all 'mutts'. But, that could answer the question above about them eating babies.... sorry - no help for the actual question, as I have never had to treat for worms.

If it were me I would sprinkle a little diatomaceous earth on there pellets, and feed them a few pumkin seeds every day for a week. Then when all are weaned I would worm the whole lot. Piperazine is mild but I would go the natural route until babys are weaned.just my 2 cents
