I remember reading of different fixing times for single weight papers compared to double weight papers. I looked on Kodaks website but they don't have any information on it. Anyone know where I find the time difference for the papers?

I think developing and fixing times are the same for single and double weight papers. There's no mention of any differences in my Kodak Master Darkroom Guide, anyway. There is a caution against fixing too long, however, insofar as that makes for longer wash times. Since the emulsion is about the same on both single and double weight papers, it follows that processing should be about the same.

The fixing times for single and double weight papers are the same. What is different is the washing times, or more accurately stepts taken to ensure that all the fixer has been removed. I seem to recall that Ilfrobrom,for example, was washed for 45mins for single weight and 1 hour for double weight. However, given that the necessity is to remove all traces for fixer I don't think you should differentiate between weights. In fact, you can probably safely wash all fibre papers for 90 minutes. Beware, excessive washing of papers can cause a loss of brigthness.

You wash all papers for only the length of time it takes to wash most of the fixer from the paper as tested by a risidual fixer testing kit. Single weight and double weight papers have the same emulsion thicknesses.
