My question should be obvious to me, but for some reason it is not.When I mount my Summaron 3.5 with "eyes" on my M6 Classic, only the 50 and 75 framelines come up.When I mount my Summaron 3.5 without the eyes (different lens) on my M6 the 35mm framelines plus the 135 framelines come up. Does the 50mm framelines in the viewfinder of my M6 represent the 35mm field of view when I use the Summaron with "eyes"? Am I confused or what?? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks to the experts.

There are some 35mm lenses made for the M3 with these eyes which transform the 50mm frameline which is the widest frame on the M3 into a 35mm frameline. These eyes are of no use on a M6 since you better use a 35 mm without these eyes but if you have to, you can use one of these 35mm with eyes and use the 50mm frame. I have a summicron 35 for my M3 and it works perfectly, there is only one disadvantage : these eyes give flare in the viewfinder. There is also an advantage : the summicron 35 with eyes focuses up to 65 cm while others 70 cm. I'm not sure but I think the summaron with eyes also focuses up to 65 cm.

Yes, the 50 lines become the 35 lines from the eyes. Not exactly the best set up for an M6, but works OK on an M3. The set up without eyes works best on all the cameras besides the M3.
