FYI: The LUSENET software appears to be inserting quite a few new answers at the top of threads instead of at the end. I've no idea why. I'll write to the lusenet support gurus to see if they can fix.

I think LUSENET has fallen victim to a 'worm virus'. Some of the threads are jumbled up with replies to people out of order.

Wow, that was quick! I just got a response back from LUSENET support. He said he believes the problem is fixed, and to let him know if it's not.

What happened was that the LUSENET support added an option under the Administrator's page to select which order that answers should appear in, either reverse chrono (new answers on top), or not. I guess we'll leave it the way it is for now because it seems logical, but if there is overwhelming demand for reverse listing we can try it.

Here is the message at the top of the admin page:

09 August 01 - For Q&A forums, I added a new administrator option to control the order in which responses to questions are presented. Due to a mis-understanding on my part, this messed up thread presentation for a few hours today - but I think I've got everything back to normal now, plus forum administrators now have a new choice. If you want responses to be ordered differently than they are now, change the Answer order option (see the How Threads are Presented section, below).
