At about 12:45 today, as we were making our way to the beach, it started to pour. Oh how nice it felt. Needless to say we turned around and went home. At least now we can open our windowns and let some cool air in until it gets humid again.

Alabama has had plenty of rain this week thanks to "Barry" coming in off the coast....at least today it's not so humid and there is SOME cooler air here! It has been so hot and sultry the air just kind of "hung" there....only in the deep south....

Got 2 1/2 inches here overnight, and it is raining again now (2 PM ), we have had rain off and on all summer, we're very near where all the flooding has been going on in WV, I guess it's either feast or famine with rain this summer!!!

The rain I got was barely a sprinkle, but it did bring cooler weather. I still have to water the garden, but maybe the rain promised for Sunday will actually materialize, and I'm glad it's so much cooler!

It rained here in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia about 3PM, but we are waiting for more (hopefully). Being a forest ranger & gardener, I thank the good Lord for every drop he sends me.......

Finally got rain here (upstate NY) on Thursday, along with high winds and hail in some areas. Was so cool last night that we almost needed a blanket on the bed. Be careful what you ask for!

It started raining through the night here and is still coming down nicely. I was so happy! Its funny too because yesterday in church the sermon and readings were about faith. One of Don's prayers included that we have faith that it will rain and I thought to myself "Thats so true! It WILL rain...sometime..but it WILL rain!". I felt so peaceful after that and when I was outside sweating and picking beans and moving the sprinkler I didn't get uptight..just told myself that it will rain. Voila!!!! Coinkydink??? :o)
