After recieving commuion, what is it that people do? WHen kneeling, what is it that one is supposed to do: ask for forgiveness, or just pray to God?

Hello Lisa,

Before, during and after receiving Holy Communion, know that Jesus is there. Present in body, blood, soul and divinity. Thank him for such an awesome gift! Praise his name! Feel his Presence inside you! This is a Holy moment, a gift of God himself to us! Jesus said if we remain in him he will remain in us! That is an awesome promise! This is a perfect time to ask Christ to strengthen us in all our weaknesses.

If you have commited mortal sins confess them properly by receiving the sacrament of reconciliation before receiving the Eucharist.
