Parallax compensation with an M3

Does the M3 offer parallax compensation? My framelines don t move as you focus. Do you any tips on how to deal with this?

The framelines do indeed move on the M3 as you focus. Put the camera on a tripod and try again. If you don't see them move then, you've got a problem.

Or, to see it better, remove the lens and push the roller at the top inside of the lens mount in and out while looking through the finder.

The M3 won't focus as close as later models do. So roughly from 0.7 to 0.8 meters nothing will happen in your view finder while you are focusing within that nearby range, even if you use a lens that has 0.7 marked as it's nearest focusing point.

Michael, you are right. On a tripod Ican see the frames moving. The adjustment is so smooth you can barely notice it!
