I am looking for information/photographs etc. on the Wm. D McCann Co. that was based in S.F. from around the turn of the century until the 1940's. The first store was located on Post St. on or near Union Square, then moved it's location to Van Ness in the 1930's or 1940's. They specialized in Chinese Imports, (my family has some beautiful furniture with the Wm. D McCann label still on them). The company also did some interior decorations of prominent homes and business. If anyone knows where I might go to find info/photos, anything related, it would be greatly appreciates. The firm was located at 404 Post St and the manager, in the 1930s, was Neel D Parker.
