Job Description Salary $70k+/year This position will require database administration, data modeling and performance tuning of relational databases both within production application and/or data warehouse, datamarts.

This position requires a strong background in Microsoft SQL Server administration, performance tuning, and hardware configuration. Primary Database Administrator duties include database backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning, and implement database change management procedures. Other duties include assisting with design of new systems, monitoring existing systems, and creating database administration standards and procedures. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring that all database systems are available, secure, and that production support procedures are fully documented

Requirements 2+ years of DBA/performance tuning in an MS SQL environment. Excellent knowledge of SQL Server/NT integration and performance tuning of SQL server Experience with Financial or Human Resource Management systems a plus (Great Plains, Kronos, UltiPro). Experience with other RDBMS or MDDBS a plus (Oracle, Essbase).

A BS or BA in Computer Science or related field is required. Must be a US citizen or Green Card holder. No H1-Bs Local candidates only.
