what to use after student has finished a method

My question is about an inter./advanced student I have. I want to start using the Hal Leonard student piano library, but I have one student who may already be passed level 5. For those of you who use this method, what do you use after that? What other things do you supplement this method with?

How about Bastien Piano Literature, Vol. IV?

You could try "The Celebration Series The Piano Odyssey" published in the US by The FJH Music Company Inc. Visit their website at www.frederickharrismusic.com. It covers grades from Introductory to Grade 10. The Introductory equates to about level 3 of Alfred.

An excellent book on organizing repertoire of intermediate level is Tinka Knopf's Piano Curriculum Guide, published by Manduca. There are a few pieces that seem in odd places to me, but as a whole it is terrific. Also consult Jane MacGrath's The Pianist's Guide to Standard Teaching and Performance Literature, published by Alfred.
