Peter Gaffney, one of the writers for Aeon Flux, went on to be the writer for Daria. As a matter of fact, yesterday I saw a beautiful tall thin brunette getting out of a wild little red sports car; she had on black sleek leather shiny boots, just below knee high level. This type usually rather intimidates me, but now I casually asked 'Ever hear of Aeon Flux, she wore boots like that"...to which she replied, "Ha, no, but I've been told Daria wears boots like this"...

I think it is cool that you would just walk up to someone and say that. I am more of the admire-from-a-distance kind of person. Although I might try it one day as tall boots are extremely popular at the moment.

First- Daria is on some 'educational' or 'kids'' network now. The N or whatever. Most of their programming is vomit-inducing, but I do like Daria.

Second- Mm... boots... I love boots. Huge, shiny, made-for-bustin'- heads boots with straps and laces and spikes and-- Sorry... went off on a major tangent there.
