Same questions at each forumgreenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
Why do folks feel it is necessary to post THE SAME INFORMATION at multiple sites? That feels more like spam than communication to me. Just my two cents.

I've posted the same thing at two sites because, while I know many people look at more than one site, I know others don't. I try to use the same subject line so people such as yourself will recognize it and not reread the same thing.Additionally, I like to think I post things of interest or value so see no reason not to post at each site I frequent. I figure if everyone read everything at every site, there wouldn't be a need for different sites. Just my two cent answer. ;o)

I've only got time every few days to check one site and I've chosen this one as the one I take the time for. I appreciate any and all posts to this forum. If the title doesn't interest me, I don't open that thread. Used to be I just read the ones relating to chickens, sheep, kitchen related, but with recent events, I find myself reading and responding to a lot more. Keep 'em coming Gary! Some of your recent posts have been informative and thought provoking. Thanks.

I very seldom go to the other forums, so I wouldn't know if we have duplication. I suppose the posters feel they will get better response by posting at the multiple sites! I really don't care to hop all over so I stay here. There is more than enough information about everything right here!

I post on three sites. Not everyone visits all of them and I like to get as many responses to my questions as possible. This has helped me make good decisions. The different forums have different features, and characteristics, which I value. It's a bit like my friends and family. If they were all gathered together not all of them would like each other or get on but I value my relationship with all of them.I like the encouragement I get from all the forums I post on. Thanks
