I'm wondering what you mean by spread weapon....do you mean the one that goes in multiple directions? I've beaten the NES version of the game using only one life with the weapon that goes in multiple directions....i've never played the Arcade version tho. Just wonderin what you mean. please respond.

The spread weapon is the one which shoot five bullets spreading across the screen in the direction you shot it. So under your description - I believe the answer is yes. GB9
