Well I don't mean to be depressing but I don't think the mainstream media will advise folks about this, so I thought it best to go ahead and let you all see it. let's hope it doesn't come to this.

President Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed on the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons in Afghanistan in a single 70-minute conversation two weeks ago, according to military and intelligence sources reports DEBKA-Net-Weekly.

The arms would include small neutron bombs, which emit strong radiation, nuclear mines, shells, and other nuclear ammunition suited to commando warfare in mountainous terrain, according to the independent intelligence service.

As part of the agreement between the two presidents, Bush assented to Russia deploying tactical nuclear weapons units around Chechnya, DEBKA also reports. Moscow faces guerrilla forces in the region – some of whom are backed by terrorist leader Osama bin Laden.

Military sources place the U.S. nuclear weapons in four former Soviet Central Asian bases – the military air facility at Tuzel, 10 miles northwest of the Uzbek capital of Tashkent; at Kagady in the Termez region; in Khandabad, near the city of Karshi; and at the military air base in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.

In addition to the nuclear weapons units, Russian bombers carrying small neutron bombs were moved to Russian military air bases around the border of the breakaway province, in Stavropol northwest of Chechnya, the Godowta base in Georgia to the south, and Mozdok in northern Osetia, northwest of Chechnya.

Russian and U.S. military sources refuse to confirm the reports.

According to DEBKA’s military sources, the U.S. plans to hold its tactical nuclear weapons in reserve, unleashing them in the campaign against bin Laden only in certain extreme circumstances:

1. To counter a move by Bin Laden’s men if they bring out nuclear, chemical or biological weapons against the U.S. force fighting inside Afghanistan.

2. If there's a chemical or biological assault by the Taliban against Pakistan.

3. Should groups of bin Laden’s Al-Qaida network – either in Central Asia or the Balkans – wield these weapons of mass destruction against U.S. military targets or U.S. nuclear arms in other parts of the world.

4. If using them is the only way to save heavy American combat casualties.

No costs and no running going on here. Just don't like snakes and if they are in breeding season in the garden there is trouble in Eden.

TAG! U rrrrr it!

If there are snakes, they must be highly targeted serpents. We have not had any recent problems posting, Including this post.

(Snidley offers a third opinion, hoping not to upset the delicate and humorous balance of Spy vs. Spy already present in an otherwise frightening thread.)

Ah Snidely, the snakes are specifically targeted and cannot be deterred form their course....HA. This has been fun.

What to expect nexT? Is there going to be a response to our attack? If So In what form?

How enlightening, now that we have graduated from believing statements like "I Did NOT have Sex with THAT woman", and the "Economy is soo... good", we can now position ourselves to swallow all this dribble "hook line and sinker" (no pun intended).

This is more of a question then a answer, but, what exactly is a tactical nuke??A Neutron bomb,a "dirty nuke bomb"???? or your average every day garden variety Thermonuclear, look out for the debris type ??????????

Tactical nuke: Defined as a low-level, specifically designed weapon for the immediate and total destruction of specific targets, with expected minimal "offset" (meaning, small amounts of collateral damage). These are normally weapons less than 1Mega Ton.. designed specifically for a target. Pocket-nuke "mines" are a relatively simple design, where the payload of the item is less than 200lbs and is designed SPECIFICALLY for tanks in formation (I Pocket-nuke mine can level an area of about 2 square miles, and radiate it for approximately 200 days). The fallout of these weapons is considered "negligible" by military advisors due to the low Gamma and Omega radiation that is NOT absorbed by the specific target. However, it's my personal opinion that ANYONE who deploys a weapon who's payload is designed to accellerate and release gamma protons into a target, or surrounding atmosphere, is a moron! Einstein himself, the true FATHER of nuclear weapons design, we totally against the idea of using his work for destroying. Granted, the guy didn't have a hs education, but he did know something that world leaders should have listened to years ago: Anytime you engage in combat, be it a large scale invasion, or limited warfare, the use of MWD is not only a last resort, but a never-resort.

Whe you use MWD in warfare, EVERYONE loses.. no matter what.. those particles of radiated materials and waste, those cells of various chemical or biological agents.. they don't just "vanish" into thin air.. their still there, only in non-concentrated doses. Does that make them any less lethal? Does that mean that after years of "limited exposure" our own troops will not be affected adversely? And what about their children? Will they not pass on these very altered sperm to the very life that breathes our futures?

You do the math.. no MWD is a "clean" weapon.. thier all dirty, they will all eventually harm more people than intended, and they are ALL worthless. You wanna do the job.. send in a bunch of robots, radio controlled planes and tanks.. and do battle from a computer. Afterall, it's the only safe way to conduct warfare anyways.
