In case something bad happens...greenspun.com : LUSENET : FRL friends : One Thread |
If we can't communicate this way, folks, how do you want to handle it? How do we reconnect? When do we reconnect?

Mule-o-grams Helen; Seriously; if those towelheads do manage to disrupt this or any other site, it has been with us too long and is now ingrained as a part of life here, the net will return, forums will return; just anchor your self somewhere and ask at every forum you can find. Or choose a unique code name and every body use it in every post to be found by search engines.

Thanks! Now...how do we reconnect if the net is down for a long time? Wanna plan a reunion in front of the national capital, wherever that may be, in five years or so? Have you ever heard of the class that agreed to meet in front of a certain courthouse several years after graduation? I think only one guy showed up. Wanna bet the others were just kidding?

Well, if things get so bad that the net goes down, I think we'll have other things on our minds (like survival). On the other hand, a touch of humour increases one's chance at survival... Well, my e's real. Any volunteers to be the secretary and keep all these, then restart the site wherever it might go to?

Done.

That's so sweet of you Robert. And we didn't have to volunteer you military style! >;)

LOL, Helen. Robert obviously had a senior's moment and forgot the armed forces credo "Never volunteer!!"I think they learn it from their first volunteer act, signing up :-\
