id like to ask if you could give me some information on kiln designs for heting water. im planning to build a heat exchanger for our pool but i dont know what type of pipe/tubings that i should use in my heat exchanger. thanks.

The pipe in the heating area needs to be iron or steel, do not use galvanized in that it gives off toxic fumes when heated, once your clear of the heater CPVC can be used, CPVC glue also. Black iron (if you can find it) or cast iron will work in the heater, remember to design so that there can be expansion and contraction. The water will need a pump to circulate it also put a filter in the line. If you use a floating pool cover the system will be more efficent, without the cover it will take very large amounts of heat to notice any differance.
