Jack NO! you can't run pigs with goats they carry pseudorabies and will infect the goats that they run with, even if they have been tested for the disease they can aquire it and it is a terrible condition for your goats to have.If you have a Merck amnusl look it up and make the decision based on your findings

I never had a problem .I ran than together when they where little .When the pigs get big they will root up everything so it won't work .You would also have to be carefull they don't bite .Funny I never knew they could catch anything .Guess you do learn something new every day.

Jack, Tell him no, not to do it. Goats are compatible with many animals, but not hogs. I had a friend who had them together and it was terrible. I won't go into it because it was just sickening for a goat person, but don't do it, please.

I had a bottle raised pig, that ran with the goats, quite well. One time a yearling kidded while i was not home and i found the kid, quite safe inside the hog house..with the hog!!How ever as she got bigger she became so greedy at feeding time that she would snap at the goats, they were all used to her and considered her a goat and got out of the way...BUT..would i do it again.or recommend it..NO,i think i was just lucky that nothing ever happened. This hog could jump fences as well as any goat!!(raised on goat milk..ha!!)
