Ditto. And as usual, after I found out it didn't work, I tried again and again. But don't worry. We keep on coming back.

Yes, luckily, I was able to rest in a quiet dark place to avert the impending panic attack until we got back on-line. ;-)

I don't know why the forum inexplicably goes down like that. I wish they'd warn us, or post information somewhere. When the forum is down, however, I do post that it is at the forum introductory page of my own site. I wish I could do more, but I really can't.

This forum is run, probably, on a machine shared by others but which no one is realyl paying a lot of attention to full time. So, when either the machine breaks down or the network to the machine fails, it takes a long time for someone who can fix it to notice.

Tony, The response I got was that the "Server was too busy to respond to me at this time. Try again later." or something to that effect. Was someone using all the server CPU cycles for tech support? If this is the case, it would be nice to change the message to indicate that maintenance is being performed and approximate time the forum will re- open. LB
