I would not blame Dennis for that. For one thing, he was merely a little nobody trying to make a buck off Y2k then other things. In Jan. 1999, long before rollover he admitted that he did not think things would be as bad as initially projected. He was attacked by a scrawny looking programmer who called him a "pollyanna" when he was on a panel here in Dallas with some other Y2k consultants.

Scrawny went on to tangling with Poole and others.

However, as for Dennis, it looks as though his Domain name was bought by a "marketeer" and then used for "traffic". Even more interesting it seems to come from the Evil Empire a Dot_RU. From a WHOIS
