We have two cats, five years old. Great cats. Roam the house/barn/chicken coop area and entertain us. We got them from our neighbors to the south, about a mile away. The neighbors had some kittens and we went to look at them, and low and behold, came home with three. The survivors of the litter. Because they were picked on and pushed aside by their resident cats, these are undersized and probably wouldn't have made too much longer.

Two males (grey and orange tabbys) and one female (calico). They are real cute, but real small. Took them to the vet for their check up and first shots. He says they are doing okay, but need better care. They'll get that at our place. I'm for calling them the three stoges, but the wife nixed that.

They are confined to the garage. Haven't been introduced to the other animals (cats as well as 5 dogs) yet. They each have their own personality, and are very inquizative(sp?). Two nights, and so far so good. In two weeks, we always quarenteen new animals, we'll start introducing them to their distant cousins and the dogs.

THREE kittens at ONCE! You ARE brave! LOL! Glad the kitties have a home that will take care of them. I found my last kitten to be absolutely adorable and a holy terror at the same time. It's much easier to take in an older cat!

When we moved to our country house I promised my daughter I would get her a kitten, well I went to get a kitten and came home with kitten and mother. The kitten was about 4-5 months old. Everything was good daughter was happy they got there shots and mother cat was pregent again (1st country lesson, stray cats can have numerous litters in a year)well fine that was cool. Mother cat miscarried 1 kitten on my kitchen floor! Well now I made appointments to get them fixed since they were in my house not outside. Let mother cat outside one day and she doesn't come home. Ok she will be an outside cat,went to pound and got 2 male kittens 6 weeks old they are so cute. Got her daughter Daffy fixed and a couple days later mother comes home. So now we have 4 cats, Daffy had top be put to sleep she got very very sick (lesson #2 saying good bye to animals is very hard)so now we have 3 cats and we are not sure if mother cat is with kittens so we may have more.They are all in our heated garage and get along very well. We also have 2 dogs and the kittens are fine with them but mother cat hates them. Good thing is I have no more mice. Before Daffy died she ate a few in my house(YUK, can't get use to that one)and I have not seen signs of them around so that is the best thing about cats.
